Upon review of the application and subject to the requirements of paragraph 3.22.2, Application Requirements, the Planning Director or designee shall approve the architectural review application provided the design meets all applicable requirements of this Ordinance. An architectural review approval shall expire after four years unless a building permit or other development permit has been issued and remains continuously valid or if work not requiring a permit has been initiated, except that an architectural review application that proposes amending an approved site plan shall be considered a site plan amendment under paragraph 3.7.3C, Site Plan Amendments, and its approval shall expire at the same time as the approved site plan as amended.
